Daycare description / philosophy

Now accepting registrations for early 2015. Register asap, as we choose to keep our size small, so we can spend the most time teaching & caring for your children.

Our small class size for junior and senior kindergarten ensures lots of individual attention & learning opportunities during these 2 important years! We believe all children deserve a great start for grade 1. Reading & writing with PHONICS, & learning math with concrete materials, gives the children the tools they need to succeed, rather than teaching through rote memorization.

Children who have been to preschool are so much more ready to learn than waiting until kindergarten. Our Casa kids learn at their own pace, according to their own interests, while making new friends in a comfortable, safe environment. With a maximum of 16 children, the 2 teachers are able to focus lots of attention on the children to give them a headstart & a real feeling of community.

Our toddler class begins at 16 months, & provides the perfect start. With a maximum of only 10 children, the 2 teachers are engaging the children in fun & learning activities while providing nurturing care & loving attention. Parents have been thrilled at the difference in our school.

Nutritious snacks & hot meals are served. The adjacent playground is large enough for the children to really enjoy their recess. We add gym & music classes to round out our enriched curriculum. The Casa children have a children's Yoga class, and we have extra-curricular private piano lessons for interested children aged 3 1/2 to 6.
