Daycare description / philosophy

At Shirley's Home Childcare, my goal is to provide a safe, secure and child friendly environment for children and their family.

Toddlers are offered a variety of opportunties to explore their world through music, art, dance and story time. And the curriculum for preschoolers is packed with educational elements that teach letter and sound recognition.

B.A in ECE from Ryerson and 6 years of experience working with children of different ages. CPR and First Aid trained

What I Offer:
-Educational programs for toddlers and preschoolers including arts and craft, music and movement, basic math concepts, hands on exploration, storytime and more
-Child care center experience in the comfort of home
safe, secure and child friendly environment for children and their families (separated from the living area with separate entrance)
-Indoor play room for rainy and snowy days
-Daily journals for parents
-Healthy hot lunch and 2 snacks prepared daily for all of our children
-Individual cots for each child (for nap time)
-Large fenced in play yard
