Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Katie Douglas and I have been an unlicensed/fully insured daycare provider in Milton since April 2013. I am a proud Mom of three older children. I am a Fleming College graduate with a dual diploma from the Education Assistant program (2000-2002) in addition to the Recreation and Leisure Services program (2002-2003). I am located one street south of the Milton District Hospital near McLaughlin/Farmstead and Bronte/McLaughlin on Miltonbrook Crescent. I provide a home away from home atmosphere for up to five children at one time. We keep busy during our days together by reading stories, singing songs, dancing to music, being creative by making crafts, working with our hands with Play Doh, sensory bins and sand, enjoying the fresh air outdoors in our fully fenced in yard, taking nature walks in our quad stroller and venturing off to local parks, we love baking together and learn how to use the potty and so on and so forth. All playpens and blankets are provided. Meals and snacks are provided. Receipts available. * Times for drop off and pick up can be flexible upon request. We are a smoke free and alcohol free home.
