Daycare description / philosophy

Hi, I am Caroline! I want to tell you a little about myself. I started out babysitting when I was 12 years old, from there I worked at a preschool caring for many children. During that time I was very active in the world of dance, and my experience with children naturally led me to becoming more involved in teaching at my dance studio (Studio PAVAS in Mississauga). While studying ECE at Sheridan I continued to work at the studio, expanding my role to teach preschoolers not only dance, but music, art and drama. After graduating from the ECE program, I continued to teach there for the next 10 years. Now I am continuing my growth by starting my own arts-based daycare: Arts in Mind Child Care. My mission is to create a warm and caring environment, equipped with the resources to spark imagination, build creativity, and to educate. My program includes art, dance, drama and music each day. I have a criminal reference check in the vulnerable sector and CRP training.
