Daycare description / philosophy
Take a step above the average. Here at Linda's Little Einsteins Daycare you'll experience childcare to the MAX! With numerous references and pictures available you'll quickly understand what childcare should really be about!
I have over 24 yrs of experience in childcare alone, along with volunteer works dealing with children of various ages.
I am CPR/First Aid certified and also have completed many childcare courses. I am police record checked.
I believe structure and routine play a very important role in a good up bringing along with; patience, love, dedication and understanding.
All children are unique!
I am a single Mom of 3 (a 28yr old daughter and 18yr old boy/girl twins). I believe our children are the future. I homeschooled my twins for the first 12yrs of their lives with them thriving and entering high school early (grade 9 at 12yrs of age). Along with that I provide an educational program for all my daycare children. Every child participates in our learning program that is structured to all their different ages and needs. Reading, writing, math, science... there is no limit to the things that we learn here! Knowledge is fun!
Other things that are practised throughout the day consist of:
~Becoming a group member
Helping others/helping peers/sharing
~Learning independence
How to dress/tie shoes/tidy-up/etc.
EVEN MORE things that are experienced at Little Einsteins are:
~multiple themes throughout the year
~Crafts
~Projects
~Booklets
~Painting/colouring
~Indoor/outdoor play
~Fully equipped playroom
~Water play
~Snow play

Each year we try to involve the daycare in different charity events (if possible), teaching little ones how important it is to help others. Some charities we have worked with are; Epilepsy Awareness (Purple Day), Autism Awareness, Movember, Terry Fox, Operation Children's Christmas Box, CHEO teddy bear donations, etc. My own family is very involved in volunteering and the daycare love to be a part of these special days. We make helping FUN! My own teenage twins volunteer hundreds of hrs each year (they both each volunteered over 2000 hrs within their 4 highschool years).
I believe; You are what you eat. Our meals consist of healthy foods and a variety of fruits and vegetables. We are (clean eaters) here at daycare, which means 90% of the food we eat doesn't come with an ingredients list! It's fresh fruits, veggies, meats, eggs, and dairy!
Located in West End Ottawa, we are only minutes away from schools, parks, nature paths and much more!
If you are looking for something a little more than just daycare give me a call! Or send me an e-mail!
I hope to meet you AND you little one(s) soon!
