Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

ECE teacher and registered nurse are offering daycare in their smoke-free home. CPR and first aid trained. We care for ages infant to twelve. Full time at $35/day and part time at $25/day (minimum 5 hours). Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are located less than a five minute walk to Newcastle PS, 2 playgrounds and a waterpark. We are a ten minute walk from downtown Newcastle which features the library and the Ontario Early Years drop-in centre. We offer at least two outside play times a day (weather permitting) and there is unlimited access to a large fenced-in backyard. Age and developmentally appropriate, fun programs based on each child's interests will be regularly implemented and reviewed. We do daily reports for the younger children featuring meal/snack intake, toileting/diapers, behavior, naps, etc. Healthy lunch and 2 snacks will be provided. This home does have 2 small dogs and a cat. All pets are friendly but will be kept separated at all times from the children.
