Daycare description / philosophy

Now interviewing for 2 available spots for September 2019!

If you are in need of child care that is stress free for you and your children, I will have 2 spaces available (Mon to Fri full time) in my home environment between the hours of 7am and 6 pm (negotiable).

I am a responsible, yet youthful 40 something ;) year old (college graduate) and experienced mother of two grown children and have been helping parents with their child care needs since 2009.

My home is a place where I am committed to your child really being seen, heard, appreciated and understood. I am here to take over where mom and dad leave off as they return to work, and continue to help with each child's development through play based learning and what I call the 3 Cs of child care - Caring/Consitent/Communication - what I believe is the foundation for connection and trust which leads to an enjoyable learning experience and one happy and secure child.

I am also here to support mom and dad with their personal choices, and home child care allows, for the most part, the flexibility in schedule to stay on your specific schedule such as meal and nap times.

I take each child and welcome them into my home as part of the family, allowing a space where the kids have loved to be when they can't be with mom and dad and have given the parents a sense of ease during the return to work transition period and beyond.

I have current (Aug 2017) Standard First Aid with Level C CPR and AED Training.

I also have my Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check (2018) and provide receipts.
