Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Our days are flexible and learning is geared to the developmental level and interests of each child. Books and reading play an important part in our day and are used as a stepping stone to the daily theme. The feltboard is used extensively in our lessons and the children enjoy the many learning resources I have created for them. This way I can tailor the learning to meet the goals set for each child. Fenced yard with playhouse, climber, sandbox and swing. We enjoy a main floor playroom so that our play and learning begins as soon as the first child arrives and doesn't end till the last child goes home. We nap on the main floor for toddlers and in upper floor bedrooms for infants needing two naps. Kitchen offers a comfortable child sized table for our meals, snacks, and activities. I am a member of the Childcare Providers Resource Network. Raised 4 children of my own including a child with special needs. I am a trained elementary school teacher and have taken ECE courses. I have been a home daycare provider for over 30 years. Tax receipts given. Located in Fallingbrook near St. Peter's High School. Easily accessed from Charlemagne/Merkley. Hours are 6:30 - 4:45.
