Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

As a daycare provider I believe in helping kids have fun while learning along the way. We do a variety of activities over the course of the day, including walks, reading, age appropriate games, songs, crafts science, dramatic play and cooking.

We also try to learn the basic foundations for helping to prepare your child to get ready for school. Recognizing the alphabet, numbers, seasons, colours, community awareness and holidays are just a few examples of topics that we touch on.

I feel strongly that consistency is very important to children's development so I provide a communication book for the parents and myself to use. This book will give an insight into what has happened during the day, any upcoming activities and any incidents that my have occurred. Parents are encouraged to use this book to keep me posted as to what may be being worked on at home, any dietary changes or upcoming holidays, to keep everything as open as possible.
