Daycare description / philosophy

I am a certified Montessori Teacher with 10 years of experience with children ages 2.5-12. I offer home daycare service and Montessori lessons in a loving, safe and nurtuing environment for children ages 2.5-6. We enroll a maximum of 5 children in our program which fosters individual attention, ensures quality care in a small group setting and enables your child to have the full potential to learn :)

Mission
My mission is to help your child in their early stages, guiding them through a hands-on approach, to gain the knowledge and experience which will help your child to reach their full potential.

*We are located in Richmond Hill at Yonge St. and Major Mackenzie, just 5 minutes away from the Richmond Hill Go Station!

What does the program offer?
- Safe and nurturing home daycare
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Children ages 2.5-6 years old
- Year round program
- Full time and part time care available
- CPR & First aid certified instructors
- Led by a certified Montessori teacher
- Montessori-based learning including:
Language (sorting, naming, grading, writing, reading), Math (numbers, counting, problem solving), Practical Life & Sensorial (gross and fine motor skills: activities encourage use of large muscles, grasping, manipulating objects), Culture (animals, plants, seasons, people and history), Visual Arts (monthly themes and activities)
- Program promotes self esteem, independence, responsibility, effective work habits and life skills
- FRENCH PROGRAM IN JULY AND AUGUST
- Free play and outdoor play (5 minute walk to local park)
- Offer two nutritious snacks daily
