Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Katya and I am a registered early childhood educator with 20 years of experience working in the childcare field. I have my Master of Social Pedagogy from Germany and my ECE Diploma from Seneca Canada. Following the Waldorf approach I will be prioritizing active listening and individual attention in a warm and nurturing environment with lots of natural light in the main floor of my house and lots of outdoor time in my large fenced yard and provide home made organic meals. I have a clear police check, vulnerable sector check, First aid and CPR certification and Food handler certification. My Home Childcare is also unique as I purposely create an environment that is nature based simplified and the focus is on minimalism giving children the opportunity and freedom to use their own imagination.
