Daycare description / philosophy

Hi fellow parents!

I am a mother of three children, I have just had a spot open in my home daycare. I am looking for a 2 year old or older for a part time space for Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the summer (July and August). I have a space for a full time child 2 years or older or kindergarten age going to St Dunstan's Catholic school. If this space is not filled by February 1st 2016 it will then be available for a 12 month old child or older.

I have references and an extensive work experience, resume available upon request, CPR and Frist Aid training and a criminal reference check from the Toronto Police Service.

We have a room that's ideal as a playroom, a room for quiet play, a room for children to sleep, a fully fenced in backyard with a slide, playhouse, play castle, teeter totter, water table (in the summer)and other outdoor toys, indoor toys, parks and community centres in walking distance which we frequent.

I serve healthy snacks and lunches all home made. If you have any dietary concerns we can work out a menu that would work with your child. My home is a smoke free home I think that is very important for children to be in a safe environment.

The children participate in activities such as sing along, crafts, games and story time, when the weather is not good through the winter.

I take the children into the fully fenced in backyard and to parks, splash pads (in the summer months), recreation centres (there are 2 within walking distance) and library, and there is a great Ontario Early Years Centre within walking distance that we go to every couple of weeks when the days are good for walking. Fresh air and variety are great for children!

I am open between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm. I offer reasonable rates for weekly and daily care.
