Daycare description / philosophy

Hello Parents,

My clients have called me the Modern Mary Poppins.

I am the mother of 2 wonderful children and I provide child care in my home. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with First Aid and CPR.

I care for my two children, who both attend elementary school, as well as provide care for 4 little girls who are between the ages of 1 - 3 years old. I will have space for one child starting the end of September.

I have worked in child care centres with all ages; infant, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-agers developing fun and educational programs. We have a large living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a toy room which is used for the children. I run a daily program with the children that very much follows the structure of a child care centre though we go on more field trips.

Hours: 8:00am to 5:30 pm
Ages: 12 months to 4 years

I have my own transportation, with 5 car seats, which allows me to take the children on field trips, to Ontario Early Years Centres, Preschool Reading programs through the Toronto Public Library, and visit City of Toronto Indoor Playground drop-ins.

- I provide healthy lunch and snacks.
- Daily reports sent home through email which includes photos and videos
- Games, outdoor activities, field trips, crafts, songs, reading time, circle time, and lots of learning experiences for your child.
- Large fenced in backyard with lots of toys, sandbox, and playground.
- Home kept very clean.
- Quiet residential setting close to parks and library.
- Police Criminal Reference check and letters of recommendation.

We have 3 cats which are great with children who usually sleep all day. They are up-to-date with their shots.
