Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Happy feet Home Daycare offers quality care in a nurturing environment. I have been working with children for many years. I have worked as a respite worker with special needs children. More recently, I taught grade three. Since then, I have been home with my 2 children, ages 1 and 4, and would like to remain at home with them while putting my skills as a teacher to good use!

While inside, the children will spend all of their time upstairs where it is nice and bright. There is a playroom beside the kitchen, where young children can play safely while I prepare lunches and snacks, while being able to keep a close eye on them.

Each day, the children will participate in crafts or colouring, circle time, free play at the activity centers, and physical activities. In the mornings, they will play in the backyard, visit the Early Years Centre, or the park. In the afternoon, they will go on a short walk to Walter Perry Public School.

The Curriculum will be theme based (colours, seasons, holidays, etc.), and will be tailored to the child's needs. Social Skills such as taking turns and sharing will also be taught.

The fee is $35.00 per day.
