Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Jodie and I have been running a home based daycare out of my home in St. Catharines, Ontario since 2000, and have experience with children of all ages. I have up-to-date First Aid and CPR training. I also have been police checked and fire inspected. My home is smoke free and I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of space to play and run. Jodie's Home Daycare is a clean and non-smoking environment. Child care space is available for full-time and part-time, with indoor and outdoor activities. I have a playroom dedicated to the children that is warm and inviting to them. I have rules in place to ensure safety, comfort and happiness for all. I like using positive reinforcement and guidance based on individual needs and development. Effective ways of encouraging positve behaviour is through Praise, Respect, Re-direction and Re-enforcement. I have an open door policy. Parents are welcome to drop by unannounced at any time while your child is in my care. After the last child arrives for the day, the front door will be locked for safety purposes. Please note, at the end of each year I provide a yearly tax receipt.?
