Daycare description / philosophy

Here at Dana's Daycare, I offer a play based approach to learning. Children are able to explore their environment to encourage the development of their indepentence, social skills and congnition. We have daily circle time which includes songs, stories, themes, games and activities. We celebrate children's birthdays, holidays and have special days (pj party, water day etc.).

About myself:

My name is Dana, I'm a dedicated mother of a 2 year old daughter. During my mat leav, I decided to stay at home with her while still doing something I love. I chose to be a home daycare provider as this allowed me to utilize my educational background and remain at home with her. I have my ECE, a degree in Childhood and Family Relations, as well as my teaching degree. I always knew I would work with children.

I'm so fortunate to have this opportunity and am looking forward to having some new little one's join our group.
