Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Kathleen, I am happily married and a mother of 2. After having my daughter I decided to be home more and open my own home daycare. I have been running the daycare since May 2014 and absolutely love it!

I offer lunch and 2 snacks, all healthy choices following Canada's Food Guide. When the weather is nice were almost always outdoors, I believe staying active and getting fresh air is important. Your child will also make crafts from time to time in which they will bring home.

Kathleen's Home Daycare currently has 1 opening starting ASAP. Ages 2 years +. Located North end St Catharines (Bunting/Carlton), daily rate $35 includes lunch and 2 snacks, my hours are Mon-Fri 6:45AM-5PM. I ensure a smoke free environment, I have 1 cat who is very friendly and has all shots up to date, have my CPR/First Aid just recently updated, Epi pen training, Police Clearance (Vulnerable Persons), Fire Inspection, Medical all completed before opening my daycare also references available upon request. Enjoy peace of mind while you work, my daycare is a home away from home for your children. I treat children in my care as if they were my own. Our day consists of circle time (singing, dancing, reading, learning ABC's, numbers, colours, days of week etc), outdoor time (park, walks, backyard fun). Naps/quiet time after lunch is given for up to 2 hour's (age appropriate).
