Daycare description / philosophy

Lil Beans Home Childcare Located in Thorold, ON Currently I have openings for ages 2yrs and up for part time care. I encourage creative play, a light preschool curriculum for those off to kindergarten as well as offer a backyard with play structure and toys, and a playroom in my basement for inclement weather. Structure will always be incorporated but strongly believe in a play based learning environment. Children will also have 2 snacks and lunch given. A little about me As a mother of 3, with my youngest born in February 2020, I knew when she was born that heading back into the workforce wasn’t going to work for myself or my family. After going back to school to earn my diploma as an Early Childhood Educator, I decided to take the leap and start my own in home childcare, something I have wanted to do for many years. I have been open since May 2022 with a full roster. My previous work experience was in healthcare for almost 15yrs and some of my best memories came from interacting with the little ones.
