Daycare description / philosophy

'As a certified Montessori teachers with classroom experience as well as two children of my own, we use the Montessori method to help children to discover a love of hands-on learning and educational manipulative materials. We provide regular kindergarten and Montessori method of learning. We have part time and full time classes. Ratio 1-5 and small size classes. Both our classroom and our teaching style are warm and friendly, a softer more modern version of the traditional Montessori class. We believe in open, honest communication with parents about both academic and social and emotional progress and provide written report cards at intervals throughout the year. We also recognize the important of play and laughter in children's lives.

Before Covid-19 I was close to opening my Montessori on the Harbourfront with brand new materials and equipment. Due to the pandemic, my opening was put on hold. This has allowed me to be able to operate as a home daycare under the DNA Act during the pandemic. I am currently caring for two children at my Montessori and I am looking for two more, to have a total of 4 children under my care during this time. When licensed city run Daycare’s are allowed to open, I can care for more children. I provide a clean, professional and loving Montessori experience and I cater my care to each child’s needs. Your child will learn their numbers, reading, writing, colours etc. Using my brand new Montessori material. They will paint, sing, play with instruments and play outside.
