Daycare description / philosophy

An Annex tradition since 1971, Friends Day Care provides a safe, enriching, licensed environment for Preschool and Kindergarten aged children. Steps from St. George subway station, close to UofT, Huron St. Public School, in the historic grounds of Quaker House. A non-denominational centre, we are an inclusive program open to everyone in the community. We offer spaces to families receiving subsidy. We have a parking lot for easy drop off and pick up. Our outdoor play area incorporates a grassy lawn, large sand play area and patio for wheeles toys and we are surrounded by mature shade-providing trees. Our dedicated staff have over 50 years accumulated child care experience! Our program is year-round, our menus are second to none and prepared on-site.
