Daycare description / philosophy

This is fun and educational care for your child by a graduated Child and Youth Worker with over fouteen years of experience with children. My resume is available on my website.

I am a very fun, loving, consistent, and organized caregiver who truly loves their job working with young children. I take pride in teaching through a structured schedule of engaging and entertaining games and activities that show little ones that learning is fun.

The home is located at Warden Avenue and Danforth Avenue with a large backyard: five minutes to many parks, a family resource centre with fun organized activities, the library and green spaces. We go out every day unless the weather deems inappropriate.

This daycare follows bi-weekly themes. Daily Activities include:
- Outdoor Play
- Educational activities to learn shapes, colours, numbers, letters, etc.
- Park, Library, and Drop-in Centre Outings
- Arts and Crafts
- Group Activities to build social skills and have fun
- Individual and group activities to build confidence, motor skills, vocabulary, etc.
- Unstructured Individual and group play
- Music and Sing-a-longs
-Role Play and make believe
- Story Time
- Kitchen/Food Activities
- Nap Time
