Daycare description / philosophy

Hello, my name is Sun Hwa Park. It has always been my passion to work with children. I am very excited to provide a safe and compassionate childcare center focusing on directing the development of children with numerous creative engaging activities. My home is located in a safe neighbourhood with great amenities in close proximity such as Greenwood Park, Toronto Public Library-Gerrard/Ashdale Branch. Greenwood Park supports development through play as per the open park and playground for children. My professional childcare goal is to create a happy collaborative learning environment that provides wonderful experiences and memories for your child In their early stages of development. I am excited to establish an ongoing caring relationship with all children and their families. My education in Early Childhood Education was completed in the reputable program ECE at George Brown College. Through the program I have gained excellent training as an early childcare provider. Training that ensures safety, well-being and creative methods of learning. I learned to support children, build their social skills, physical activities, regulating emotions, communication skills and language by observing children’s behavior and providing creative play. My work experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners’ children of varying age and development has trained me to create engaging programs that cater to the learning needs and interests of each specific group of children I had worked with. As you may wonder my name Sun Hwa Park is Korean, as it is my mother tongue. Having dual language allows me the benefit to assist with children new to Canada I hope my introduction provides you the confidence and assurance required to the offering commitment and excitement to look after your child and creating lasting memories at my child care center!
