Daycare description / philosophy

St. Bernadette’s licensed children’s programs provide stimulating, high quality care from experienced R.E.C.E. instructors whose goal is to educate children 18 months to 12 years old in an inclusive environment where children with or without intellectual and/or physical challenges socialize and learn from each other. St. Bernadette’s views children as active learners who learn best from activities that they themselves plan, carry out and reflect upon. Our programs are designed to offer parent relief. We achieve this through our St. Bernadette’s Dar Care, We Need a Break School Readiness Nursery program, Breakfast Club, After School Club, March Break camp, and summer camp programs, all of which are designed to support families and ease the emotional, physical and financial stress that parents experience. DAILY ACTIVITIES Activities contribute significantly to children’s overall development, especially in the areas of initiative, social relations, intellectual abilities, music, outdoor play and movement. All our programmed activities promote creative expression, school readiness and school success.
