Daycare description / philosophy

I am a qualified Elementary school teacher. I have been running my home daycare with my daughter for five years. We believe that supporting children and enabling them to have the best start in life to fulfil their full potential is the most important role we have as childcare providers. Initially we focus on children’s personal, social and emotional development, enabling children to feel secure, confident and happy. We believe that once a child is secure and happy then that’s when as carers we can extend development and children feel confident to learn and explore. The children spend their days playing and making crafts in a warm home environment.

Our environment is designed for each individual child and we tailor learning experiences to ensure that all children have a learning journey suited
to them as individuals.
