Daycare description / philosophy

The Home day care "The Happy Bees" offers the best services for your children in a warm, nourishing, quiet and secure environment. Your little treasures will feel at home and will learn a lot.
A qualified educator with diploma (From Vanier College), first aid, police check , many years of experience in childcare in big daycares and not only.
The educator is patient, warm, knowledgeable, energetic, creative and speaks English, French, Romanian and Russian (has a Master Degree from her country). The daycare is within walking distance of transportation like metro cote-vertu.
The daycare offers educational program, many entertaining and stimulating activities with hands on materials for the overall development of your child and we spend lots of time outside when the temperatures "allow". We will teach your child math, science, reading, music, art and so on.
We offer a small warm breakfast in the morning (homemade porridge, rice pudding, toast and so on), a hot fresh lunch (we also cook halal food) and 2 healthy snacks and for those that stay late we also offer super.
The Daycare is opened Monday to Friday: 6:30 to 18:30, but it may vary according to your needs.


The Program of our Daycare is:

6;30 to 7:30 Welcoming the children
7:30 to 8:00 We take dinner (if anyone comes after this time and is hungry, will have dinner as well)
8:00 to 8:10 Hygiene (We wash hands and brush teeth)
8:10 to 9:00 time for free play (During free play children learn to solve their "problems", explore, communicate, negotiate, take turns and many other good things)
9:00 to 9:30 we take our morning snack
9:30 to 9:40 Hygiene
9:40 to 10:00 Morning Circle (During Morning Circle we sing songs, learn stories, and talk- ask and answer questions)
10:00 to 11:50 Activity time and Outside time (In summer we'll do the activities outside at the table)
11:50 to 12:00 Preparation for Lunch
12:00 to 12:30 Lunch time
12:30 to 12:50 Hygiene and preparation for nap time
13:00 to 15:00 Nap time
15:00 to 15:10 Preparation for Evening snack
15:10 to 15:30 Snack time
15:30 to 15:40 Hygiene
15:40 to 17:00 Free play and activity time
17:00 to 17:50 Outdoors time and Gradual Depart
17:50 to 18:00 Preparation for Supper (For those that are still at the daycare)
18:00 to 18:30 Supper time (For those that are at the daycare still)

We want to mention one more time that we have great materials that will make children interested in learning, exploring and having fun. We take bits and pieces from Montessori, Regio Emilia and High Scope concepts to design our Educational Program.


The service is for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
The price is$ 30 / day, with receipt for tax return, but after the government reimbursement it may be as low as 7$


We are Waiting for accreditation for the reduced contribution, you can benefit from the government program for early repayment.
