Our large playground is formerly a church parking lot with an asphalt surface. Children will slip & fall in winter on packed snow on pavement, or where they may play. We do our best to \\\\\\\"sand\\\\\\\" high traffic areas. This past spring the yard and driveway were newly paved repairing any unlevelled areas and a new fence. We have a large play climber, play house and abundance of toys available for the children. We have also added a newly fenced and grass front yard. \\\\\\\"Wandering off\\\\\\\" is not possible as we have always maintained fenced yards and supervision at all times. Our menu is a rotating 4 week, offering hot meals, soups, wraps & sandwiches. We do not serve \\\\\\\"canned\\\\\\\" foods. Hot dogs are served as a fun food day from time to time as most schools do as well. This is an industry that is typically plagued with high staff turnover. We are proud that 80% of our staff have been with us more than a year, and that 50 % of our teachers have been with us 2- 5 years. Many staff have been with our company over 10 years and are promoted and/or transferred to other locations. All teachers are educated with backgrounds in Childcare, Youth Care, Social Work, Nursing & Bachelor of Education and hold certifications as an Accredited Daycare Centre in Alberta.

Managment is quiet ridiculous at this centre due to the play ground area which is highly unsafe for any child, the pavement is not safe for children to be sunning around on and esp during the summer time kids are constantly going home with scratches and cuts. Ratio isnt always checked properly and staff need to pay more close attention to kids who wander off on their own, ive caught several kids doing so and were left unsurpervised. Meals/ Menu : they dont eat a varity of healthy foods which is disappointing to me my child tends to eat the same meals over and over hot dogs and canned foods please stop ... and come up with something more nutrious. Staff are constantly leaving and never staying my child has gotten so close to several staff members from 2014 and asks about them alot more lately, its heartbreaking that i have to try to example that they will not see that certain stafff / teacher at the daycare anymore.
