I interviewed dozens of dayhomes before choosing Lana. Lana cares deeply, takes her responsibility serious. I loved that weather permitting they are outside everyday, with lots of time for freeplay. Her days are carefully planned out, so parents are required to be prepared. Her ability to engage and attend to many kids are incredible and she is skillfull at managing extra kids. She provides healthy homemade meals and snacks and often would send home a little treat for my other kid. The fee was higher than what I had hoped, however is comparable and I do feel that her fees are fair considering how much fresh produce and often organic she purchases and the quality of care she provides. Lana's dayhome runs very smoothly and she communicates daily with parents (aslo sends pictures most days, which I loved getting). She does expect open communication with parents and parent participation. I am grateful for having found her and my kid still talks about missing her.
