This center is in deep need of trained professionals. Staff in infant/toddler rooms have no idea how to help children with separation anxiety. They just stare at the child, and it doesn't even cross their minds to call the him by his name and try to calm him/her down. Bonding with the child is a nonsense, for most staff in these rooms. Once your child finally starts feeling attached to one of the teachers, the teacher is moved to another room. -> Cue separation anxiety episode in one, two, three... No sense of stability whatsoever. This center opened in July of 2012, and in November 2012 is at its third appointed director (admiteddly, one who can smile and is willing to change things). The program manager always makes you feel like you're bothering her; she has a sign posted on her door, warning you that you can't step in her office without permission. All these, while you can obviously see on her computer's screen that she's browsing the internet, looking at cars.
