Kids and Company is a very profession setting, but it is also a very large setting somewhat burdened by corporate rules and an ultimate profit margin. While the individual caregivers and directors were all kind and caring, as a company they are constantly juggling staff between rooms in order to just meet the ratios, which is difficult on toddlers who are typically looking for consistency and structure, and who are often going through hightened separation anxiety. Our shy daughter never adjusted, we pulled her from the day care. And then things became difficult, as the company had trouble refunding us an agreed amount, "forgot" to stop automatic payment withdrawals, and staff at headquarters were hugely inaccessible.
