My child previously attended Small Blessings and we were overall pleased with the progress they have done with her speech. However, some things that happened on the premises at times did not sit well with me. At times during the walk, I would drive by or have a friend walk by if I seen my child and we both saw some of the children were being yelled at to walk faster or get told to get to the back of the line, being told they needed to hold their teacher's hand for the remainder of the walk. This seemed a bit extreme for me. The other problem, in my eyes, is the fact so much of the staff are aging and not enough young workers. My child would sometimes come home and say her teachers could not afford two minutes of their time to play with her. The last problem was that it seems the staff had high turn over rates, I do not know the situation, so I am not to judge, but this makes me curious as to why this happened. Overall, though, the meals and activities were great. Just keep in mind it is not for everyone.
