Cons: No fixed gate on stairs. (Gates lean against the wall and not fixed in place). The in ground pool in the backyard is not fenced off from the rest of the back yard / play area. When you go inside the house from the front door there are 5 concrete steps which a child can easily fall down on. Also, the front door opens easily and there is no alarm / lock on it warning the adult the child has left. Carpets are worn and stained due to food accidents and potty training accidents. Caregiver smokes (she is often is trying to quit). However she burns incense and scented candles before and after the children leave. All the children's clothes are kept in one large communal bin near the entrance. Sometimes challenging to find their belongings. Due to the second hand smoke, clothes left inevitably smell like smoke. Household one dog and one cat but the animals are both child friendly. Pros: Lots of food offerred to children, excursions to parks and library.
