My professional background is elementary school principal. In that capacity I was responsible for the supervision of the childcare in the school. I have had the priviledge of spending time with Maryellen's home childcare as an extra pair of hands on a field trips and when I occasionally pick up my granddaughter. Maryellen's home childcare is as child centred as the best I have seen. She is gentle and kind taking time to listen to the carefully and respond thoughtfully to the children. She creates interesting and age appropriate activities. There is a well equipped play and sleep room on the premises Time is spent outdoors. Nutrious and child friendly snacks and lunches are offered The house is clean and tidy. In all a home away from home with an excellent care provider
