My daughter had a difficult time with separation anxiety and Emma did not give her the time she needed to adjust. She was not flexible with her routine to accomidate my daughters needs and she was not willing to put in the time and effort to make it a positive experience. I feel that if your child needs extra TLC, patience and understanding you should look elsewhere.

I am hurt that this parent feels that their child did not receive TLC, patience and understanding they deserved, as that is what my daycare thrives on and this child received on a daily basis. This child was in my care for several months and had much difficulty with adjusting to the children, staff and the daycare setting. Causing not only physical harm to herself but also other children at the center. Open communication was kept with both parents on the development of this child and getting accustomed to the daycare setting. However suggestions made by the parents were unable to be followed through as it conflicted with daycare protocols. I offered extra time and help for this family including getting them in touch with other resources and professionals to help with this child’s difficulty in public surroundings. I hope when reading this review you can understand and appreciate that i keep open, truthful communication with all my parents and understand that this parent did not like or accept that her child needed one on one care and could not adjust to the overwhelmness of other children near her, and unfortunately my recommendation was to find a nanny or childcare provider that did not have more than one child to care for, as this was in the best interest of the child.
