My son has been attending First Class for a year now. He started in infant and I thought they were great teachers. They were communicative and willing to work with me, due to my son's diet restrictions. Once he moved up to the Toddler room, things went 180. i found the teachers to be less involved with parents. You can have 5 teachers in one room, they will all hug adn kiss your child bye but half of them won't address you, or introduce themselves. I found it a bit rude, since I'm supposed to trust them with my child's safety, yet they don't really make an effort to get to know the parent. as per the daycare's choices in food, I understand that school centres must abide by government regulation to feed children a particular diet, but I don't understadn why microwave and canned food is acceptable when we all know the dangers associated with it. I don't mind substituting foods to replace what I scratch of his food list. There was a big communication problem between his teachers and the kitchen staff.
