I was very excited to send my 18month old to her new daycare. Childcare plus appears a little rough around the edges but the manager was excellent and the tour made it seem like it would be a good fit for our child. We were presented with that activities that were to happen during the day ie. circle time, and dancing. As well as a menu. When I brought my daughter for her first day I stayed and wittnessed many alarming things. First off the planned activites never actually happened, instead the children stood around board while the workers did nothing to gain their interest. Second the meals were sub-par. For example 3 slices of pickle as a vegtable. All of this aside the deal breaker for me was the lack of compassion that the staff showed. They were clearly there for a paycheck and did not care about the kids. I would strongly reccommend that people consider other child care facitlites before leaving their child at child care plus.
