This is a home day care in a quiet older residential neighbourhood. The care provider is a friendly, experienced ECE graduate, whose family has "flown the coop" and her full time occupation is child care. Children love her as she loves them. She believes in giving children plenty of leadership in their activities, keeps a predictable routine, provides healthy home cooked meals, naptime, all the "usual" in a loving, friendly and safe environment. There is a large backyard that is protected, surrounded by a tall hedge. Tricycles, push toys, sandbox, double stroller, balls, child sized hockey sticks, picnic table and lots of attention to the natural world are available to the children. The group often goes to Rockway Gardens, to "the fountains". It is a favourite destination.
