I'm starting to lokk for day care for my 2.5 year old son, he's in a private home care right now. I had herad great thing abuot OWL and their program and i didn't see much of the program going on when we had the tour. I guess I had high expectations, but my sons gets all of the cognitive, spatial etc. education from our home day care. Some of the teachers were just sitting their and talking to eachother, and the kids were just free playing, again I thought it would look more like pre-kindergarten. In the kindergarten room the teacher was sitting doing crafts on her own with her head down, and accross from her a boy was eating sand! I was not impressed and the fees are just ok and I would expect more attention to the kids, mind you most kids were outside playing and one group was singing songs with one of the teachers but against a wall and it just seemed chaotic and unorganized. Hardly any room to play outside either
