This provider states that there is a cook onsite, however, parents must provide all meals, snacks and drinks for their child daily. Arts, crafts and sensory activities are rarely offered to the children. The provider does not offer outdoor play as soon as the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius, so the children are kept indoors from late fall to early spring. If provider requires time off during the day, she will offer backup care in her home using her friends and family as caregivers (not sure if these substitute caregivers have police background checks, or certified in First Aid and CPR). It is recommended that parents have reliable back up care, as this provider takes the equivalent of 5 weeks of holidays per year. Higher quality of care can be found for a similar price elsewhere.
