The tv being on only occured to be on only in the afternoon between 4:30-5:30pm. It doesn\\\'t mean that the child/ren are not being cared for. As for schedules, I follow a routine and do assume that a child coming in my daycare will slowly start following it so that it makes my day go smooth. If I had to follow 3 different schedule for different families, I would be pulling my hair out at the end of the day. It\\\'s normal for any daycare to put all new children on their schedule/routine.
It\\\'s funny how we perceives things when it\\\'s been a long time ago. I also remember that the scene wasn\\\'t just me causing it but she did too. So let\\\'s be fair and say that we disagree on how it went. I have to say that this is the only family that the parting went wrong. It\\\'s sad that it happened but it did. If I could redo a few things with dealing with this family, I would. I have changed a few things in the way I run my business to make it better for the parents, the children and for me.

I sent my kids to Sandra for a couple of months. She did not always keep to their schedule, instead went along with the schedule of her own child which confused my children's regular routine. Also, when we needed to leave (due to unemployement) she caused a scene outside in front of the neighbors and the kids. She made several promises upon hiring which were not kept (daily progress reports, keeping to their schedule, etc..) Everyday when I picked the kids up, they were watching tv. Of course, the kids took to her though.
