From our initial meeting with Kerry-Ann, we knew our two year old son would feel at home at K.A.S.I.A. Preschool. Kerry-Ann is so engaging with our son, and since this would be his first experience away from mommy, it was so important to me to have such a happy, playful and enthusiastic teacher by his side. Kerry-Ann is also incredibly receptive to our son. She was picking up on his use of words we didn’t know he even knew. Once enrolled at K.A.S.I.A. Preschool we noticed our son’s speech and language blossoming. I’m so proud that one of our son’s first words he learned from school was ‘thank you’. Kerry-Ann is always encouraging independence; we see our son playing at home on his own for periods of time, trying to get ready on his own, helping to get meals prepared and helping with clean-up. The school’s saying is ‘Play is not a break from learning….’ so while he is in class learning fundamentals, manners or doing everyday tasks he’s having fun learning!
