Teddy Bear Academy has been home for our daughter since she was 6 months old. From the beginning we appreciated the newly renovated space and play yard that Teddy Bear offered. Our daughter quickly felt at home and never fussed when being dropped off. However over time we have noticed major issues. The turnover situation: Over the last two years we have seen about 10-15 caregivers come and go. A group of parents including ourselves asked to have a meeting to go over the staff turnover concerns with management. We have been denied to meet as a group and then denied to meet on an individual basis. The owner of the Daycare likes to run his business as a dictator and has smothered any parent community initiatives. The food situation If you go to the Teddy Bear Academy website you will see children eating fresh organic food. When you pick up your child you will see them eating white crackers with nothing on them and cornflakes. The daycare cuts corners when it comes to snacks and portions of major meals.
