I am so thrilled with my son's experience at the Waldorf Childcare Centre! He joined full time when he was just 18 months old and has totally thrived in the warm, loving, nurturing, home-like setting the centre provides. At 4:1 the child/caregiver ratio is better than the industry standard. Caregivers are all fully trained. Food is provided and is organic and healthy. The children have lovely outdoor spaces to play in at least twice each day. They sing and play and bake bread and water plants and paint and colour and dig in the sand and develop their imaginations with beautiful handcrafted toys and materials. The Childcare Centre is connected to the Waldorf Academy School proper in that we get to share in some of the school-wide festivals and other events that take place. It's a really special community and the daycare is a very special place. I know that every day my son is being treated with loving kindness and being given opportunities to grow into the person he is becoming.
