Excellent school! We sincerely appreciate the education and care provided. Also we were amazed by the improvement of the child! To summarize. Yorktown has: 1. Highly professional teachers and staff who truly spent the time and effort to build the bonding with the child and parents. 2. Tailored education based on their understanding of the child. 3. Emphasis on leadership, independence, responsibility and confidence. We saw dramatic change/improvement of our daughter in the last 3 years, especially the last year! The child came out of her shell and blossomed! In the 3rd year, the student becomes the 'senior' one in the class and is given lots of opportunity to help and lead the younger classmates. So for those of you who have sent your child to Montessori for thhave sent your child to Montessori for the first two years, please don't miss the 3rd year since it is the time to harvest!!
