BEWARE. My initial impression of this daycare was very positive; the owner has many qualifications and is very good with the kids. She shows genuine love for them and I believe has their best interest at heart. However there have been several issues. Kids seem to spend a lot of time watching an ipad every day. Rarely have structured activities, seems to be a free-for-all. They never take the kids outside in winter and curtains are always closed, so they get no sunlight at all. Several times she asked for an advance in payment, not professional. Very defensive through text. When we decided to move our kids to another centre, we gave 30 days written notice, which is what is stated in her contract. She immediately texted me at work and started accusing me of putting her in a difficult position, and told me that starting the next day my kids were no longer welcome in her daycare. She was completely unprofessional and I was happy to get my kids out of there.
