Daycare description / philosophy

Quality child care with openings!!

I have worked in the child care field for over 16 years and am looking forward to providing quality child care from my home. Children can play in safe and nurturing environment and develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, creatively, and socially.

My qualifications:
Certificate in Early Childhood Education (completed in 2009)
Valid first aid and CPR level C
A recent criminal record check and, child abuse check
12 years of experience in 2 licensed child care centers and two successful years experience operating a government licensed child care home
I can identify with parents as I am also a parent of three children. Ages: 7, 4, and 10 months old
Licensed by the ministry of education

Quality of care that will be provided:
Government subsidy available
Child directed daily programming created to meet each child's developmental needs
Appropriate and stimulating activities
Very nutritious menu (following Canada's Food Guide), limiting sugar, salt and preservatives
Hot meals
Daily outdoor play (weather permitting) in a well maintained and fenced in yard
Large playroom equipped with stimulating and interesting toys
Our location is within walking distance to Ecole Wilfred Walker and, bussing available to St. Marguerite school, Ecole St. Andrew, and Wilfred Hunt school

This is a non smoking and pet free home.

Hours of operation: 7:30am - 4:30pm

Spaces currently available: 1 infant/toddler space, 2 preschool spaces and 2 school age spaces

Fees: infant: $775(6 wks-11 mths), toddler: $675(12 mths to 2 1/2 yrs), preschool: $650(2 1/2 yrs-6 yrs), school age: $400(school year)/$450(lunch provided)/$475 summer
