Daycare description / philosophy

I am a licensed childcare provider that has met or exceded the licensing requirements of the early learning childcare branch for licensed childcare homes.I have been licensed in my home for the past 20 yrs and have worked in daycare centers as well. I provide a warm, safe, stimulating family group environment, giving great care and attention to each child.I have a huge variety of play equipment and educational toys in doors and out to encourage learning and positive play experiences for each child. Activities such as crafts, baking,circle times, music,games,dress-up,outings etc make up our daily routine.We have daily play time out doors in my huge back yard which has a large sandbox and play centre.My whole house is used for my daycare, children are not restricted to only one area.I provide healthy nutritional lunches and snacks my emphasis is on provideing tasty home cooked meals.My goal is to promote cofidence and co-operativness and self-reliance in children.To create an environment where everyone will be treated equally and with respect.To have on going communication with the parents about their child's daily experiences. To make my home feel like home to all my attending families,so that their children will love coming to Debs home daycare.
