We definitely had to prebook our library trips a month in advance, but we were always accomodated no matter what time of the day.  We notified the parents of the library trip in the monthly newsletter.  We didn't have any parents questioning the trip as it was part of our curriculum, in fact they were extremely happy about it.  I believe the only group that didn't go to the library was the infants group.

I have my daycare parents sign a concent form to go on field trips..and provide details via email or newsletters . Parents are required to pay for any enterence / transportation fees.

Our parents signed a general consent form with their child's registration which allowed us to take the children for walks around the block, to the local park, etc.  Larger trips required an additional consent form and payment for the trips also came from the parents. (All information was provided on the program plan and monthly newsletter.) If they did not want their child to participate, they were unfortunately required to find alternative care for their child.
