Daycare description / philosophy

Hello,
I am a certified Behaviour Instructor and Mental Health Counselor and Addiction graduated from Fanshawe College.
Available for childcare services starting immediately.
- CPR and First Aid certified
– Crisis Prevention Intervention certified
All meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks) are going to be made from scratch by me.
- Daily logs provided
- There will be daily communication to parents regarding the child’s day.
- Spaces for 2 Infants, toddlers and pre-school, ages 8 months-6 years.

Daily Schedule
7:00 am – 6:00 pm
7:00 -8:30: Morning arrival routine
8:30-9:15: Breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, bagel with cream cheese, fruit, cheeses, milk/juice, etc. variation of bi-weekly menu.
9:15-9:45: Circle time includes Calendar, weather/season chart, days of the week, months of the year and animal, shapes, colour of the week, recognition will also be incorporated during circle time.
9:45-10:15: Art and Craft time, each week there will be an activity send home, so that the parents can view the work of our talented artist.
10:15-10:30: Story Time Corner, there will be a book read to the children, thereafter the children have their own quiet time to pick and read a book of their choice.
10:30-11:15: Outdoor Play (backyard fun, bike riding on the lawn, tent, ball games, slides) If there is inclement weather the children will remain indoors and have free play (blocks, puzzles, kitchen, doll house, board games, etc.)
11:30-12:15: Lunch (children will be served a hot nutritious lunch along with fruit/veg, milk/juice)
12:30-2:30: Quiet time/nap time (children who do not nap may watch a movie (I-Pad), read or do a quiet activity)
2:30-3:30: Wake up, snack time
3:30-6:00: Outdoor play/Indoor free play
6:00pm ……child pickup time

Day Care Hours: 7:00am to 6:00pm
