Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Georgina and I run the Future Stars Home Daycare out of my home. I have over 20 years of experience working with children from 0-21years of age.

I started out as a Child and Youth Worker, specializing with children who were diagnosed with multiple behaviours, special needs, and with complex medically fragile conditions.

Over the past 15 years I have worked as a social worker in various fields specializing as a children's literacy specialist, a school readiness worker for children 0-6 years. I have also worked within the academic field and also as a social housing outreach worker.

I have taken First Aid and CPR training for 30 years and my most recent training was April 2012 for First Aid/CPR with AED. I also have CPIC (criminal check) clearance.

Future Stars Home Daycare: offers a quality environment which is loving, nurturing, educational and most of all fun. I will provide an effective daily routine which will provide growth and development to help your child meet their necessary milestones. I am more than happy to work with you and your child if they require a special diet due to allergies, faith, or life choice (e.g. vegetarian).

I will arrange an appointment to meet with you and your child to view the daycare, to discuss the needs of your family and child, review daily routine and meal plan complete all necessary forms and answer all your questions.

I look forward caring for your child.

My daycare is located at Bauder Cres., which is located in the Westwood Area, near Lancaster P.S.

My hours of operation are 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

I currently have a few spaces left for children 0 - 4yrs of age.
I also have families on a waiting list for spring and summer 2013.

Please note all families receive a tax receipt at the end of the calander year.
