Daycare description / philosophy

Hello my name is Afton and I provide home daycare from my fully licenced loving smoke and pet free home on a quite court in the Amberlea area of Pickering. I am a mother of 3 amazing children, Makayla,7, Ayden, 5 and Colton 2 and we have Myah, 2 whom we watch 5 days a week, and has become part of the family:) I offer a safe, nurturing and caring home away from home while Mommy and Daddy are at work. Being a parent I know how hard it is to find a person who you are comfortable leaving your child with and have decided to take on a maximum of four children at a time so that I can concentrate on making the children a priority and give them all the individual attention they need. I believe that children should be able to be themselves and learn through play and social interaction in a safe loving environment. Our days consist of various stimulating activities including: singing, dancing, free play, learning time(age appropriate), library trips, story time, meal and snack time, naps(age permitting) trips to indoor playgrounds, the science centre, the park and various outdoor activities weather permitting. If you feel your child may enjoy spending time in my home while you are at work and that our family would be a good fit for yours, please call to discuss a meeting.
